World of Warcraft, playing with Eyes Hands and Feet??

It is common knowledge you need adecent amount of hand and eye coordination to play video games, letting your hands control what your eyes see is a feat some peopleelevate to legendary standards. Yet I've always wondered if there wasmore to that.

The Wii and Kinect broughtpossibilities to evolve video gaming but it never really managed tohit the big developers, everything Wii and Kinect was mostly fundedby Nintendo and Microsoft to keep their own product alive.

But there is a change happening to theworld of video gaming, we are on the edge of virtual reality and 3danimations, yet Blizzard and thus WoW is unable to hook into the newmarket. It could be because the engine is outdated or the lack ofinspiration. But something has to change in order to keep the gamefresh.

So how can WoW develop in the newmarket whilst keeping the game true to it's roots?

Implementing Kinect?

I few years ago the University ofCalifornia started a project embedding Microsoft Kinect system intoWorld of Warcraft which resulted in:

This seems like an amazing way to playWorld of Warcraft, yet it is one that is in complete conflict withthe Terms of Use which prohibits use of the third-party softwareneeded to operate it.

So how else can we change the way weplay the game without being banned by Blizzard?

The answer is this:

I know your thinking, what in the worldis that... We'll it's a gaming accessory.
It's meant to be a foot-controller,which allows you to play MMORPG games and most importantlycontrolling your character with your own feet. Tilting the disk withyour foot will allow you to move in the desired direction. TheBelgian creator has put this up on Quirky seeking more attention tohis invention:

So seeing those two creations, howwould you increase the fun you have in the game using external methods?

  1. I so want this.

Left hand for keys, right hand for camera control and shift and control and feet to move.

I love it, but does it work?

    Might be worth looking into.
